A bit about the client
Exsim, formally known as The Events House, are an events entertainment company who specialise in simulator hire. Exsim is owned by Dave and Adrian (Adi) and we worked closely with Adrian throughout this project.
About the project
We started working with Adi, on a new website for The Events House, back in February 2015. He wanted a new, more current site as the old one was dated and had an unclear and unstructured site navigation. Adi then took advantage of this fresh start and decided a complete rebrand was needed for the events hire company. This was when the decision was made to change from The Events House to Exsim. We helped Adi with the branding for Exsim, which was then used in the site.
A content first approach
When launching a new website here at Eden Agency, our primary focus is always content. To make sure we fully understand what content and what pages are needed in the site, we hold a requirements gathering workshop. In this workshop, we go through every detail of the site in fine detail- we do this by creating personas, user journeys, taking a look at competitors, and much more.
A slick design
Adi wasn’t happy with the dated design of the old The Events House website. After the decision was made to rebrand to Exsim, we worked with Adi to create a more modern and slick brand and website. The new website is now responsive- as we know, being mobile friendly is really important.
